Things then worked for a while.Recently I downloaded Apple's new Mountain Lion OS, and immediately I ran into problems with the software not recognizing that the scanner is connected. I sent a technical question using the on-line system. The question was acknowledged, but it has now been 4 days and still no answer. I would definitely not buy this product again.
