In regards to installation, I thought the instructions were clear. One thing to keep in mind is that when you install the housing, there will be a gap of about a 1/4" away from the ceiling. There is no avoiding it, even if you leave out the rubber isolators. The overall look (except for the small gap) is exactly what I was looking for. I am glad that I went with the white: it's got that understated, clean look. The glass and all the hardware was nicely packed, and it came with three bulbs. One nice feature is that you can hold the pull chain for the light and it will start slowly dimming, and when you let go, it will stay at that light setting. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful  Best fan ever!, By MaMa N.
